Would you like to share your enthusiasm and knowledge about STEM with other students and the Big Bend community?

Did you know that offering time and experience is beneficial for young people to begin establishing a career path. Our volunteer program is for High School Juniors and Seniors as well as College Students seeking experience in STEM related programs, workshops, and events.

Our objective is to help students interested in a career in STEM by providing them with ways to gain professional experience by participating in Young Engineers Tallahassee programs, workshops, and camps year-round. This includes help area students with hands-on activities and experiments.

  • Participating in workshops and camps by mentoring and instructing student participants in grades K-8.
  • Professional development experience in instructional design, such as curriculum development for example.
  • Participating in marketing events to showcase the various programs within Young Engineers Tallahassee.
  • Engage in hands-on experiential activities and engaging experiments.
